From: Jeff Kaluski
Dear Neighbour,
Most of you know by now that at the end of May/beginning of June I throw a party in the neighbourhood. It’s a fundraiser for Parkinson Canada.
The parties are incredibly fun. I can’t thank the band ‘Late By 10’
enough for making the evening complete. As I do every year, I applied for and received a Block Party and Noise Exemption permits from the City of Ottawa to have a street party! The city will put up street barricades to allow us to walk freely and safely while getting to know the people we live close to.
Here are the details:
What: Jeff Kaluski’s (Birthday) Party for Parkinson’s Research
I will supply munchies and drinks, but if you’d rather bring your own, feel free.
Also, several of you have asked if they could make and bring finger
foods. To that I say: ABSOLUTELY! Many want to contribute to the snack buffet!
With it being a fundraiser for a cause that my family holds dear, I hope that you would bring a donation. By no means is it a requirement, though. I can even give you a donation tax receipt for donations $20+.
Sincerely,
Jeff
PS I really apologize if you’ve received more than one invite, but consider yourself double-invited!
Thanks for taking a look at my personal page. I am planning my own event in support of Parkinson Canada. I’d like to tell you why, and what your donation will do.
By 2031, the number of people living with Parkinson’s in Canada will more than double. I am planning my event to fund the increasing need for support services, education, advocacy and research. This is why I’m asking for your support today.
Help me ensure Parkinson Canada is there for Canadians living with Parkinson’s today – while funding research into better treatments and one day, a cure.
To show your support, click the DONATE NOW button on the right hand side of the page, above the progress meter and achievements.
Every dollar means new hope. Thank you!
