Contents Under Pressure: Conquering Anxiety & Depression Dr. Lois Stewart-Archer, RN, MN, PhD, CPMHN(C) is the Regional Clinical Nurse Specialist, Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, Rehabilitation & Geriatrics Programme and a research affiliate of the Manitoba Centre for Nursing and Health Research, University of Manitoba.

She provides consultations regarding management and treatment of challenging issues related to older adults with mental health/psychiatric concerns; clinical education and supervision; and develops policies/protocols, and practice guidelines. Dr. Stewart-Archer enjoys working with these wise individuals and strongly endorses the maintenance of their dignity, spirit, and independence.

Learning to Thrive Through Mindful Living
Ricke Piché has been practicing as a Registered Psychiatric nurse for 31 years. Throughout his career he has been very interested in helping people live life to the fullest. He has 15 years of experience in Critical Incident Stress Management, debriefing individuals who have experienced trauma. He has been practicing mindfulness for 10 years, and has been facilitating Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction courses for the past 5 years. Rick is the proud father of two grown daughters with a love of all sports, especially golf, and enjoys traveling and meeting new people.

Self-Care for Parkinson Caregivers
Janice received her Bachelor of Human Ecology in 2005, majoring in Family Social Science with a minor in Aging. In her past role as Client Service Coordinator for Alzheimer Society of Manitoba and her current role of Services Manager at Riverwood Square - Harmony Court Supportive Housing, Janice has gained a wealth of experience in facilitating support groups for individuals and families through supportive counseling and caregiver support groups, working with individuals and their families, assisting with navigating homecare services and providing group members with a safe environment where they can share their challenges.
