Lanark North Leeds Parkinson Canada Working Group is pleased to inform you that we will be hosting a free Parkinson's Education Event on April 26th 2018 from 10am-1:30pm. April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month!

The event will originate at the Smiths Falls District Hospital Campus and will be broadcasted live via the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) to other OTN sites including Perth, Carleton Place and District Memorial, Almonte and District Memorial, Arnprior and District Memorial, and Brockville Hospitals; North Lanark and Country Roads Community Health Centres.

Speakers will include Movement Disorder Specialist, Dr. Michael Schlossmacher, Neuro-Physiotherapists Alison Muir and Susan Smith, Social Worker Joanne Doucette and Pat Evans, Parkinson Advocate and Person with Parkinson’s.

It will be a two part event with the morning open to the public; and the lunch session dedicated to healthcare professionals only.
