Our National Grand Prize Draw

Congratulations to Jennifer Poissant of Ituna, Saskatchewan.

For every $250 raised, you will receive a ballot for the National Grand Prize, a random draw for a travel voucher worth $2,500 redeemable for any personal or family vacation you choose. Conditions: upon acceptance, winner must agree to use the voucher by the launch of Parkinson Canada SuperWalk next April and share photos with Parkinson Canada for promotional use.


National Team Challenge Draw

Join the fun and walk as a team! For every $500 raised as a team from all sources, the team will receive one entry into our National Team Challenge draw. The winning team will receive the opportunity for a private audience with a Parkinson Canada funded researcher (either by phone, skype or in-person depending on location).

National Hero Contest

Congratulations to Josephine Jollymore of our Pictou/New Glasgow Walk.

Our 2019 contest runs until June 30 and will be drawn from entries in our 'Support Group Hero' program. If you are interested in submitting a nomination, please connect with your local Parkinson Canada support group. . In keeping with our Everyday Heroes, Extraordinary Hope theme we’re continuing to offer our ‘Everyday Heroes’ contest as part of Parkinson Canada SuperWalk this year. This year, we’re naming a new ‘National Hero’. Click for words of inspiration from past national heroes.

SuperWalker of the Year

Congratulations to Gayle Truman (Lanark North Leeds)and Ann Bada-Crema (Vaughan).

Awarded to recognize a walker whose contributions to the event, enthusiasm for SuperWalk and its goals, or fundraising success has made an outstanding contribution to their local SuperWalk. Nominated by peers through the nomination form and determined by a to-be-assembled panel.

SuperWalk Volunteer of the Year

Congratulations to Linda Thrasher of our Durham Region Walk

Awarded to recognize a walk coordinator or committee volunteer whose contributions were integral to the success of their local walk.
