Please note: while Parkinson SuperWalk donations are accepted through December 31, the deadline to be included in top fundraiser calculations and for draws, prizing and recognition programs is September 30.

Our National Grand Prize Draw

Sponsored by Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Canada Inc.


For every $250 raised, you will receive a ballot for the National Grand Prize, a random draw for a travel voucher worth $2,500 redeemable for any personal or family vacation you choose. Conditions: upon acceptance, winner must agree to use the voucher by the launch of Parkinson SuperWalk 2018 (April 1, 2018) and share photos with Parkinson Canada for promotional use.


National Team Challenge Draw

Join the fun and walk as a team! Any team with all members (18+) actively fundraising will be entered in the National Team Challenge Draw. The winning team will receive the opportunity for a private audience with a Parkinson Canada funded researcher (either by phone, skype or in-person depending on location).

Email Draw

Congratulations to Shirley Harris of Toronto, Ontario. Shirley sent 246 emails from her fundraising centre in 2017.

Register online for Parkinson SuperWalk and keep sending out emails through your Fundraising Centre! For every 5 emails you send through your Fundraising Centre, you will receive one ballot for a chance to win a $500 Roots Gift Card.

Draw deadline: August 31, 2017.

Canada 150 / Early Bird Draw

Register early (by Canada Day, July 1) and have $150 in confirmed fundraising to receive an entry into our Canada 150 draw. You could win a $500 Roots Gift Card to cover all your apparel related Canadiana needs, and your choice of any of our 2017 Walker Recognition Items.

Ken shares, "Since being diagnosed with Parkinson’s I have met many wonderful and caring people, some having the disease and others being great supporters and caregivers of those who do. National Hero Contest

Congratulations to Blake Bell of Toronto, our 2016 National Hero

Our 2017 contest runs July 2-August 1, 2017. The entry form will be available during that period. In keeping with our Everyday Heroes, Extraordinary Hope theme we’re continuing to offer our ‘Everyday Heroes’ contest as part of Parkinson SuperWalk this year. This year, we’re naming a new ‘National Hero’. The person you nominate has a chance to lead their local walk as our Parkinson SuperWalk National Hero for 2017! Click to access the nomination form.

Peer Nominated Awards

SuperWalker of the Year

Awarded to recognize a walker whose contributions to the event, enthusiasm for SuperWalk and its goals, or fundraising success has made an outstanding contribution to their local SuperWalk. Nominated by peers through the nomination form and determined by a to-be-assembled panel.

SuperWalk Volunteer of the Year

Awarded to recognize a walk coordinator or committee volunteer whose contributions were integral to the success of their local walk.
