Thank you for your support of Parkinson SuperWalk 2017
This September more than 10,000 participants and 4,000 registered walkers joined together from coast-to-coast-to-coast to support a better life today for Canadians living with Parkinson's, and a world without Parkinson's tomorrow.
Your support fuels innovative, discovery research that holds the key to unlocking the mysteries of Parkinson’s disease.
Take for example the work of Parkinson Canada Research Program grant recipients Ted Fon (Year) and Jacob Aguirre (2016-18 Funding Cycle). One made a significant discovery in helping to map the three-dimensional structure of the Protein Parkin. The other is investigating how to use this knowledge to keep brain cells healthy.
