Welcome to My Personal Page
This summer I am again participating in Pedaling for Parkinson's in Parry Sound. This will be my only ride for Parkinsons this year.
This cycling event was created by friends who have also been touched by the disease. We are all working to fund research to find the cause and a cure.
I am riding as I have personally witnessed how this disease can eliminate the quality of life from a vibrant, active and contributing member of our community. My Father-in-Law, Bob Alexander was a gift to his community; as a talented, caring surgeon, carpenter, handiman and woodworker - and a great Friend, Husband, Dad and Grampa. PD took his quality of life away and then his life as he passed away in November 2015 just before his 80th birthday. He was very pleased that members of his family are working through this ride and other efforts to ensure future PD patients have a better path than he endured.
Too many good people are having to endure the PD journey. We need to find a cure - ASAP.
Together, with your support we can help the Parkinson Society realize their vision of a better life and a brighter future for Canadian's living with Parkinson's today; a world without Parkinson's tomorrow.
It is with deep gratitude that I thankyou for your support.
