Sept 7, 2019 SUPERWALK for Parkinsons at Ashbridges Bay
Hello SuperWalk supporter:
This year I would like to collect $5,000 to help find a cure NO MATTER WHAT. As you all know that I have Parkinson's and was diagnosed 12 years ago. Parkinson's is a day to day struggle, it is horrible to think of what I was able to do compared to what I can do today.Thank goodness I have a very supportive family and friend base to draw from.
I would also like to thank all the supporters in the past and present for all the generous donations towards what is near and dear to my heart. This goes to prove that money for for reshearch really works. Please donate to my cause.
I would like to report that Parkinsons has come along way in the past years and it was just announced that there has been a breakthrough. In 2020 there phase 1 clinical trial on humans for a one a day pill that will stop Parkinsons "in its tracks". This will still be years before this will be available. This breakthrough is by researchers at the University of Queensland – and partly under-written by the Michael J Fox Foundation. Go to the below for link to artical for your reading.
