My wife, Kelly, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s three years ago. Likely the disease was causing her issues for a number of years prior to the diagnosis.
Soon after she had the surprising news, Kelly joined a research study. They will be following her for a number of years. Research is so important for better understanding of this disease.
More than 100,000 Canadians live with Parkinson's, the fastest growing neurological disorder in the world. Thirty Canadians are diagnosed each day.
In September, I'll be walking in the Parkinson Canada SuperWalk to raise money for Parkinson Canada and their research, support, and advocacy.
I’m asking that you pledge what you can to help raise funds - perhaps the price of a book, an album, or a coffee. Your pledge will help make a difference and is greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
John
