Thanks for taking a look at my personal fundraising page! On May 1, I will run in my first ever 10km race in Toronto. For me this will be a personal accomplishment. Runners at this event will be raising money for a cause that matters to them.
By 2031, the number of people living with Parkinson’s in Canada will more than double. I chose to fundraise for Parkinson Canada to support the increased need for services, education, advocacy and research.
A close family friend was diagnosed with Parkinson's a few years ago. I've seen the impacts it has had on his life. But with the support of counselling, research and specialized treatment he has developed resilience and strategies to navigate this progressive disease. This is why I've chosen to raise money for Parkinson's Canada.
Help me ensure Parkinson Canada is there for Canadians living with Parkinson’s today – while funding research into better treatments and one day, a cure.
