Hi,
I am raising money in support of Parkinson Society Canada and their mission to ease the burden and find a cure for Parkinson’s through advocacy, education, research and support services.
In 1997 my brother and I rode from Vancouver, BC to my home in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. He went on to St John's NFLD, via Argentina, but I could not finish at that time. This Labour Day weekend I will take the opportunity to not only finish my ride across Canada, but to create awareness and support for more than 100,000 Canadians living with Parkinson’s every day.
Tom is another of my brothers. In 2013 he was diagnosed with Parkinson's and now he lives in a long term care facility in my home town. Although he suffers from the debilitations of Parkinson's, his strength and courage are an inspiration to everyone who meets him.
Please join me in support of Tom and the many other Canadians living with Parkinson’s by making a donation today.
Sincerely,
Robert Moloney.
