Hello! I'm raising money in support of Parkinson Society Canada (PSC) and our mission to ease the burden and find a cure for Parkinson's through advocacy, education, research and support services. This year we're celebrating PSC's 50th anniversary and all PSC board members are participating in a leadership fundraising drive - which means it's sort of like a competition - and most of you know how I respond to competition!
As a friend, acquaintance, business associate, and/or fellow volunteer I hope you'll make a donation in honour of my husband Brian FitzGerald and his daily struggle with Parkinson's Disease, OR in honour of someone else you may know who lives with Parkinson's. Just click the link on the right labelled "Donate Now".
Although Brian is currently residing at Baycrest Hospital and is working hard to overcome a number of health issues, Parkinson's is the one issue Brian cannot simply out-exercise, out-heal, or out-rest. Which truly sucks.
With your support I'm hoping that together we can create a future where Parkinson's sucks less!
Daphne
P.S.- The new Parkinsons Sucks website that my daughter Casey and I are working on is not up and running yet; when it is I'll let you know so you can check out its awesomeness. However, please feel free to admire our new logo, developed by a designer friend of Casey's - Sonya Van Heyningen!
