Thanks for taking a look at my personal page. I am registered as a golfer for the 7th Annual Chipping in for Parkinson's Tournament.
This is my third year joining my Dad's team to raise money in honour of my Grandpa, Glenn Nickerson. I first filled in for my Grandpa when he was sick (which ended up being one month before he passed away in 2019).
This is the 6th year of team “Golfing for Glenn” – which was started in support of Glenn Nickerson (my Grandpa) who was diagnosed with PD a number of years ago. Unfortunately, Grandpa passed away shortly after the 2019 fundraising tournament (at the age of 63), so again this year we are golfing in memory of Glenn. It is definitely a tough disease to see in a person, which is why it is important to use to raise money to help those who have PD.
My Dad (Glenn's son Jeremy) myself (Glenn's grandson) along with a couple of close friends (Peter Dyck and Marcus Enns) are taking part in the tournament at Bridges Golf Course on Thursday, June 8th, 2023.
Our team "Golfing for Glenn" raised $1620 in 2017, $3235 in 2018, $5050 in 2019, $6070 in 2020 and $6090 in 2021 for a total of almost $22,000!!
Our goal this year is to surpass the $5K mark in funds raised once again and I would like to bring in $1000 on my own!!
This inclusive, family-friendly tournament raises money to support people living with Parkinson's, and I am competing with other golfers and teams to raise the most!
Help me ensure Parkinson Canada is there for Canadians living with Parkinson’s today – while funding research into better treatments and one day, a cure.

Every dollar means new hope. Thank you!
