I’m taking part in The Growling Beaver Brevet to raise money for Parkinson Canada whose mission is to transform the lives of people living with Parkinson’s. Parkinson Canada funds critical research, provides information and support, increases awareness and advocates for improved health care outcomes for people living with Parkinson's across Canada.
As many of you know, Parkinson's fundraising is important to me and my family as my father died in 2015 of PD. I've joined 2 Boards in the last few years that help those living with this disease and their caregivers live better every day.
This year will be the 10th year of the Growling Beaver Brevet, and to date we have raised over $3.2 million in support of Parkinson's. Our goal this year is to raise $1 million and I am hoping that you can help me reach our collective goal.
