Welcome to the Guelph Superwalk
I wanted to let you know about an important event I’m participating in this September.
Parkinson SuperWalk will be taking place across Canada on September 14th and 15th, and I’ll be walking for more than 100,000 Canadians with Parkinson’s, as well as their care partners and family members.
The Guelph walk is on Sept 14th at Riverside Park and I am the organizer. I am always looking for Corporate Sponsors and for prizes and silent auction items. Ask your clients if they would to like to support this great event and give us some swag!
I was diagnosed at age 37 and have had PD for 12 years. I can tell you first hand how horrible this disease is. There is not one aspect of my life that has not been affected. I can also tell you that research is critical and I am proof that thanks to research there are better treatments available. I had Deep Brain Stimulation surgery on May 15, 2013 at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD and this has helped me significantly manage the daily symptoms.
Please consider supporting my SuperWalk campaign this year - it's a great cause, and if you give online with at the link below you'll get an instant tax receipt.
Thanks for your continued support.
