Julie and Luke are running again
Yes, it's that time of year again, and we're running to raise funds for the Parkinson's Society of Canada. The run is on Saturday 7 September. As usual, we're going to try and (slowly) run the whole 5K, avoiding being overtaken by any walkers.
Julie is now 7 years into her diagnosis, but can still plan to run 5 kilometers, definitely a little slower each year, but that's OK. She is still optimistic that research already underway will result in a cure - meaning a stop to the loss of her brain cells and a way to replace those she has already lost - in time to help her. It's a race against time that she intend to win. We also continue to do what we can by participating in research and trials.
Thanks for supporting us again.
