Thank you for your support of our 2019 SuperWalk Campaign
Well our 6th Parkinson’s Superwalk is behind us and once again we exceeded our previous year’s total. We currently sit at a total of $11,400 which is the 8th highest total for an individual fund raiser in Canada. We can’t begin to tell you how humbling it is to receiveyour awesome support.
This year we started a second walk in Cobourg, as my brother-in-law Chuck Daigle was diagnosed with this crippling disease and his family felt they should start a walk in their area. So we established a joint campaign and created a national team called the Gutteridge/Daigle Team. We are very happy to report that this walk had a very successful first year and raised $2,325 For a team total of $13,725.
We would like to thank the Toronto Maple Leafs and Maple Lead Sports and Entertainment for their contribution of the Maple Leaf game day experience and the Austin Matthews autographed Jersey which we awarded by draw to two lucky donors.
The winner of the Toronto Maple Leaf game day experience was Michael Sherwood and the winner of the autographed Austin Matthews jersey was Eleanor and Paul Pencharz, congratulation to both.
Thank you for your awesome support, “together we will find a better way”.
Yours very truly
L John Gutteridge
