Welcome to My Personal Page
I am once again requesting your support as we raise money for better treatments and research to find a cure for Parkinson's Disease. We had a very successfull BBQ, Plant and Yard Sale at the end of May with the money we raised being used to support the Peterborough Movers and Shakers Team.
Bill has had Parkinson's for 23 years and although he has had challenges with his balance, with exercise, the help of improved medications, his positive attitude and the support of his many friends he continues to do the things he enjoys. We have lost a number of our Parkinson friends over the years but Bill still goes to a Parkinson exercise class, plays bridge, enjoys competing in a hockey pool and watching our children and grandchildren pursue their interests.
We are very aware of the impact that living with Parkinson’s has on everyday life for so many of our Parkinson friends. We are participating to make life better for all People with Parkinson's and their caregivers. This year's Walk will take place in Peterborough on Saturday, Sept. 8.
