Support my Mum for the Parkinson SuperWalk :)
Hello everyone and welcome to my home page! :)
Here is just a little bit about my Mum! She is truly one of the funniest, hardworking, supportive and loving people you will ever meet. Her drive to not let this disease define her is extrodinary. She contiues to make strides everyday to keep her body functioning at its full capacity and keeps workring hard at Pier 1 Imports. If you know my mom she never stops moving and is always creating new exciting ways to make our home feel welcoming as well as always making Michelin Star dinners every night!
Here’s just a little snippet of how great my mum actually is. My mum is truly one of the most supportive people I have ever met. She never missed any of my gymnastics competitions growing up as well as made it to numerous competitions while I was competing in the NCAA.
Storytime real quick … during my four years in high school my mum drove me to school as well as gymnastics practice everyday. I’m taking about driving me from our home in Brampton during rush hour to school in Etobicoke and then picking me up at lunch, driving me to practice in Mississauga. That is 3 cities in one day and she did that for me EVERYDAY for 4 YEARS! Not many people would do that for their child but my mum devoted those four years of her life to be my “taxi driver”, all to help me with my dream of receiving a college scholarship. I attribute a lot of my success throughout thanks to her.
She and I both truly thank you for taking the time to view my personal page and the team page as well as any donations that you can give! Your donation to the Parkinson SuperWalk will help for the need for support, advocacy and research for those who have developed Parkinson's.
Thank you so much :)
