Support Leslie Fisher in the Parkinson's SuperWalk

Everyday Heroes. Extraordinary Hope.
Thanks for taking a look at my personal page. This September, I’m joining everyday heroes from communities across Canada as part of Parkinson SuperWalk. Specically this year I am a virtual walker with the Farmer family team. Alan and I dance together in our weekly Park'n Dance class and he was also my partner for a special creative project last year.
Two years ago I became involved with Park'n Dance here in Guelph, ON. Park'n Dance is an organization that provides weekly dance classes for people with Parkinson's Disease.
You can find out more here: https://parkndance.com/about-us/about-parkn-dance/.
The work that we do in our classes not only provide an opportunity to work on movement, but it encourages creativity, self expression and friendship. Every class I am moved by the strength, courage and determination of the other dancers and I hope that in participating in this fundraising event I can do my small part in increasing the support available to these amazing individuals. this fundrainsing event I can do my small part in increasing the support avae to these amazing individuals.

More than 25 Canadians are diagnosed with Parkinson's every day; more than one person every hour. By 2031, the number of people living with Parkinson’s in Canada will more than double. I am participating in Parkinson SuperWalk to fund the increasing need for support, advocacy and research.
Your donation fuels better health outcomes for Canadians living with Parkinson's today, and it supports the Parkinson Canada Research Program which works with Canada's brightest researchers to find the next big breakthroughs in treatment. This is why I'm asking for your support today.
Help ensure Parkinson Canada is there for Canadians living with Parkinson’s today – while funding research into better treatments and one day, a cure.
To show your support, click the DONATE NOW button on the right hand side of the page, above the progress meter and achievements.
Every dollar means new hope. Thank you!
