Meredith Blogg's Fundraising Page
WOW I can hardly believe that this year marks 23 years of walking to support Parkinson's research! My family participated in our first walk in Toronto at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre over two decades ago. Since moving back to Ottawa we have all walked, volunteered, fundraised and been avid supporters of the Ottawa Area Superwalk for Parkinson's.
I walk for my extraordinary Mom, Fran Squire, whose dignity and grace living with Parkinson's are a constant inspiration. Her determination and personal fundraising success over the last decade have been phenominal, and I can only hope to follow in her footsteps.
Together, the Parkinson's Superwalkers raise funds for education and support services, not only for people with Parkinson's, but also for their caregivers and family members too in communities across Canada. This annual event also raises funds for research into the causes of Parkinson's, better treatments and one day, a cure. When you walk with me or sponsor me, you bring us closer to this year's goal of $3 million.
Every dollar means new hope. Thank you!
