Support Caroline Midgley for Parkinson SuperWalk
Thanks for taking a look at my personal page. Saturday, September 7, I’ll be joining my husband Arnold and 10,000 or more Canadians who take part in a Parkinson SuperWalk. We've been participating in the SuperWalk since Arnold was diagnosed in July 2014. This year's theme emphasizes the strength of spirit the Parkinson's community shows. While symptoms may cause challenges, there is courage to try and fail and try again and again... a testimony to what true strength of character looks like. Arnold's strength of spirit is an inspiration to me, family, friends and colleagues. We'll be carrying thoughts of friends & family and people with Parkinson's who can't make the walk with us.
More than 25 Canadians are diagnosed with Parkinson's every day; more than one person every hour. Together with thousands across Canada, we're raising funds for research, education, advocacy and support services toward a better life for Canadian's living with Parkinson's. This year, my goal is to raise $1500 toward Arnold's Army's team goal of $4000. You're most welcome to join our team and/or join us on our walk at the Ron Kolbus Centre at Britannia Park.
