Dalhousie Memory Joggers
We are Dr. Gail Eskes's Cognitive Health and Recovery Research Laboratory at Dalhousie University. Our research focuses primarily on attention and working memory, and how these functions change with aging or disease (such as Parkinson's or stroke). You can read more about our lab on our website: http://cognitiverepairkit.ca/
The Parkinson SuperWalk: Everyday Heroes. Extraordinary Hope.
Thanks for visiting our team page. This September, our team will be joining everyday heroes from communities across Canada as part of Parkinson SuperWalk.
As a team, we’re committed to supporting Parkinson Canada. We’d like to tell you why, and what committing to join us or visiting our personal pages and making a donation will do.
The need is only increasing. More than 25 Canadians are diagnosed with Parkinson's every day; more than one person every hour. By 2031, the number of people living with Parkinson’s in Canada will more than double. We are participating in the Parkinson SuperWalk to fund the increasing need for support services, education, advocacy and research. This is why we are asking for your support today. More than that, we walk to show our support for a collective movement of people in communities across Canada looking to make a difference one step at a time.
Help us ensure Parkinson Canada is there for Canadians living with Parkinson’s today – while funding research into better treatments and one day, a cure.
Every dollar raised and every new team member means new hope. Thank you!
