Support Jennifer Hild in Memory of Marilee Weisman for Parkinson SuperWalk
Everyday Heroes. Extraordinary Hope.
Thanks for taking a look at my personal page. This September, I’m joining everyday heroes from communities across Canada as part of Parkinson SuperWalk. I’d like to tell you why, and what your donation will do.
This will be my 5th Parkinson Superwalk since We lost our mother (Marilee Weisman) on May 26, 2015. Our mother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in her early fifties. Our mother (Marilee) was a fighter. She volunteered at the Parkinson Society, helped with their early onset programs as a speaker and motivator; she found ways not to let this disease slow her down. She lived life going to concerts, going on trips in the early years and spending time with her grandchildren who she loved more than anything. As a family we did the Superwalk with her for a few years. I will be walking for her. I have set a high goal of $2500.00.
I appreciate everyone even if you can't donate by reading my page will help get this message accross. If you you know anyone who would want to donate please forward this to them.
Thank you for helping me meet my goal.
I have asked for my donations to go toward Research.
By 2031, the number of people living with Parkinson’s in Canada will more than double. I am participating in Parkinson SuperWalk to fund the increasing need for support services, education, advocacy and research. This is why I’m asking for your support today.
Help me ensure Parkinson Canada is there for Canadians living with Parkinson’s today – while funding research into better treatments and one day, a cure.
