Support [Diane] for Parkinson SuperWalk 2020
Thank you for taking a look at my personal page. Even though there will not be an actual walk this year among this Covid pandemic, I have made the commitment to fundraise alongside 10,000 participants standing together against Parkinson’s in Parkinson Canada SuperWalk, and I need your support.
With more than 25 Canadians diagnosed with Parkinson’s every day, the need for support is ever growing. Your gift contributes to critical research, education, support and advocacy efforts on behalf of the Parkinson Community. By 2031, the number of people living with Parkinson’s in Canada will more than double.
I have volunteered for Parkinson Canada, Durham Region for over 10 years. It continues to be a personal connection to me with my Dad who passed away from Parkinson in 2007 and with my brother, Bruce, who was diagnosed three years ago with MSA, a very severe type of incurable Parkinson disease. I see it progressing every time I see him. I am currently enjoying his visit from BC to Oshawa these last couple of weeks, with his wife also.
Please donate to me for this year’s SuperWalk and know that your donation will be used to bring a vision of a better life today for Canadians living with Parkinson’s, a world without Parkinson’s tomorrow. Every gift counts.
To show your support, click the DONATE NOW button on the right hand side of the page, above the progress meter and achievements.
With many thanks,
Diane Collins
