Support Team Sette Bello for Parkinson SuperWalk
Francesca, Felicia, and I, along with the rest of Team Sette Bello will be participating in our 9th annual Vaughan Parkinson Superwalk! As most of you already know sette bello is the best card to have when playing Scopa with Sicilian cards. My dad was the BEST! We do this walk in his honour! Parkinsons is a terrible disease and watching my dad suffer from it was heartbreaking! Our team is made up of many family and friends and has grown over the years from just Francesca and me to a team of 24. We walk not only for my dad, but also for so many friends like Anna Affe, Mrs. Searles, and the late Mrs. Poidomani.
As always we are so grateful for your love and support❤
Everyday Heroes. Extraordinary Hope.
Thanks for taking a look at my personal page. This September, I’m joining everyday heroes from communities across Canada as part of Parkinson SuperWalk. I’d like to tell you why, and what your donation will do.
The need is only increasing. More than 25 Canadians are diagnosed with Parkinson's every day; more than one person every hour. By 2031, the number of people living with Parkinson’s in Canada will more than double. I am participating in Parkinson SuperWalk to fund the increasing need for support, advocacy and research.
Your donation fuels better health outcomes for Canadians living with Parkinson's today, and it supports the Parkinson Canada Research Program which works with Canada's brightest researchers to find the next big breakthroughs in treatment. This is why I'm asking for your support today.
Help me ensure Parkinson Canada is there for Canadians living with Parkinson’s today – while funding research into better treatments and one day, a cure.
To show your support, click the DONATE NOW button on the right hand side of the page, above the progress meter and achievements.
Every dollar means new hope. Thank you!
