Support Earl Conway for Parkinson SuperWalk
My Story
Most of you already know this, but for those of you who don’t, I was diagnosed with the early stages of Parkinson’s Disease on November 9, 2017. I would like to do my part in finding a cure. More than 25 Canadians are diagnosed with Parkinson’s every day, more than one person every hour. This will be the 2nd year that I am doing the walk and I hope to raise as much or even more than I did my first year. With the generosity of family, friends, co-workers and even a few people I didn’t know, I raised over $10,600.
With the help of medication and the love and support of family and friends,
I am doing well. I have some good days and some bad days. The pain is always worse in the morning. Some days things take longer to do than others and
I get frustrated. I have to stop and take a deep breath, regroup and start again.
I just have to make myself laugh (which is hard some days) or else I would
be crying.
On September 12, 2020, I am taking part in the Parkinson Superwalk to raise money for research. I am asking for your support. Please sponsor me, every dollar counts. Also, I would be thrilled if you would join me on the walk that day for moral support. Go to http://superwalk.ca, select donate now, donate to a walker, type in Earl Conway, make your donation.
From the bottom of my heart, Thank You.
