Why I Walk For A Cure!
Family & Friends,
Although much has changed through 2020 our desire to find a cure for Parkinson’s remains strong. We may not know what the 2020 Parkinson Canada Super walk looks like just yet, but we are driven to fundraise and push forward toward finding the cure.
There are approximately 100,000 Canadians living with Parkinson’s disease, and many more living with the effects of it. Families that are impacted by Parkinson’s still benefit from support, education, advocacy and guidance on how to navigate it, and research to one day prevent it. My walk and your donation support these important goals.
Fundraising fuels better health outcomes for Canadians living with Parkinson's today, and it supports the Parkinson Canada Research Program which works with Canada's brightest researchers to find the next big breakthroughs in treatment. This is why I'm asking for your support today.
Your gift to Parkinson's shows that no matter how things change and no matter what day may bring there is strength in numbers. With unwavering spirits- letting no obstacle hold us back. No matter what!
“The war against Parkinson’s is winnable – and you can play a part in the victory.” ~ Michael J. Fox
