No lockdown for Parkinson's Disease - we need your donations to help find the cure!
Dear friends - chers amis
Nous avons encore besoin de votre aide - HELP - we need your help.
Like we told you last year, the Beatles sing "HELP we need somebody" ; well, those suffering from Parkinson's Disease desperately need your financial to help find the cure.
Parkinson Disease has not been locked down - la maladie Parkinson's n'a pas été confinée. If you've felt that it has been a long year waiting for us to begin to overcome Covid-19, think of how it feels for those suffering from the daily struggles of Parkinson with no sign of a cure as of yet.
Au Canada, plus de 25 personnes par jour sont diagnostiquées avec la maladie Parkinson. More than 1 person an hour is diagnosed with Parkinson in Canada.
We are getting on the other side of COVID-19, but as yet, we can't get on the other side of Parkinson's. Only one thing can get us there - research!
We know that it's a difficult time to come "knocking at your door" for your donations, but until a cure is found, we have to do so. We are so very very grateful to all who have contributed in the past and for whatever you can donate this year.
This September Superwalk will once again be a virtual walk or a walk around the block if possible. Bien que nous ne puissions nous regrouper pour une Grande Randonnée, la marche cette année sera virtuelle ou en petit groupe.
Help us ensure Parkinson Canada is there for Canadians living with Parkinson’s today – while funding research into better treatments and one day, a cure.
Merci, un gros merci pour votre appui et votre don.
