My 19th Parkinson's SuperWalk!
On September 11th, once again, I will be doing the SuperWalk to raise money for Parkinson's research. I will join Canadians across the country who are walking that weekend. This will be my 19th Walk. 100 percent of the money raised in this event goes to research into the causes of, and treatment for, this vicious disease. If you can sponsor me, you bring us closer to our ultimate goal - a cure!
Because of Covid 19, we will each be walking alone in our own neighbourhoods. I will walk the full 5 K., and more if I can.
As many of you know, I walk in memory of my beloved father, and in support of 3 of my very dear friends and all the others who suffer from this enigmatic and tragic disease. I lost my dear friend, Joanne, to Parkinson’s. Her bravery and dignity in the face of a multitude of daily challenges was remarkable. This year I again dedicate my Walk to her.
Every year, thanks to your generosity, we get closer to a cure, and more treatments are discovered. I know many of you have sponsored me every year, but I ask for your help again this year, if you can. Any donation over $20.00 receives a tax receipt.
Thank you! Every dollar counts, is very much appreciated, and is guaranteed to help!
