Support Helen for Actual Paddle for Parkinson's v2.0
I did not expect to be doing my second Covid Parkinson's Superwalk! Last year, much to my surprise, everyone was super-generous, and I raised $1850. 3 years in a row that my donations increased. I can't thank everyone enough for their generousity, but I can and will ask everyone to dig deep into their pockets yet again, and help me exceed last year's goal.
As I was fundraising in previous years, many of you said "My _____ had Parkinson's". Even close friends, and I never knew. Then my Dad floored me. "Your grandmother, my Mum, had Parkinson's". I never knew that. OK - now it's personal! We gotta beat this!
As in previous years, the walk is on the same day as a dragon boat event. Last year, we had to make our own mini-regatta. This year, I will be paddling my Outrigger Canoe for Parkinson's. So, I won't be "virtually walking" for Parkinson's. I'll be "actually paddling" my OC1
Help me help Mike, and Randy! Coz helping our friends and family today may help our friends and family in the future.
