Support Team Julie - "Outrunning Parkinson's" - for Parkinson SuperWalk
Everyday Heroes. Extraordinary Hope.
On Saturday September 11 I will once again be running in support of Parkinson SuperWalk. Like most of you, I have friends and family that are/have been affected by Parkinson's. Your support will be directed towards research, which I hope will mean better treatments and a cure in time to help Julie and others affected by this disease.
Here is what Julie has to say this year on her fundraising page:
“It's been nearly 10 years since I was diagnosed with Parkinson's. It's been a crazy ride, played out in slow motion. Sometimes I wonder ":why me?", but it hasn't been all bad. On the good side has been the never failing support from family and friends.
Over 100,000 Canadians live with Parkinson's. I am confident that there will be a cure and hopefully it will be in my lifetime. I'd really like my neurons back!
Thanks for supporting us again, I know that there are many worthwhile calls for your charitable donations. Thank you for helping.
There are many worthy causes to support, specially this year. if you are able to donate, your support will be much appreciated.
To show your support, click the DONATE NOW button on the right hand side of the page, above the progress meter and achievements.
Every dollar means new hope. Thank you!
