Support Jawad for Parkinson SuperWalk
Our Parkinson Community Stands Together: No Matter What.
One thing that is constant in the journey with Parkinson's is change. It is an individual condition that impacts everyone differently. What my family has learned through our journey is that we need to stay flexible, and understand that there are things outside of our control. This year again, we are planning to walk with the Parkinson Community in September.
We are personally impacted by Parkinson’s. My dad had DBS surgery which has helped him. Not everyone qualifies from surgery so we are hoping for a cure some day. We still need support, education, advocacy and guidance on how to navigate it, and research to one day prevent it. My walk and your donation support these.
More than 25 Canadians are diagnosed with Parkinson's every day; more than one person every hour. By 2031, the number of people living with Parkinson’s in Canada will more than double. I am participating in SuperWalk to fund the increasing need for support, advocacy and research.
Your donation fuels better health outcomes for Canadians living with Parkinson's. My dad's surgery was fuel by donations that gave a grant to researchers.
Help me ensure Parkinson Canada is there for Canadians living with Parkinson’s today like they have been there for us– while funding research into better treatments and one day, a cure.
