This September, I am joining everyday Superheroes across the country to raise funds for Parkinson Canada during the annual SuperWalk.
The last time I did the walk was in 2019 and my team raised over $3,000. Since then, I have participated in an exciting new trial that involves focused ultrasound which is showing promise in safely and effectively slowing the progression of this debilitating disease.
Now in its 32nd year, the SuperWalk is the largest annual fundraiser for Parkinson Canada's network of innovative researchers, services, and programs - including 120 support groups - and important advocacy work that focuses on raising the voices of people living with Parkinson's. The Parkinson Canada SuperWalk also celebrates the community of support around those living with Parkinson's, their families, and care partners.
This year’s Superwalk is on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Sunnidale Park, Dorian Parker Centre, in Barrie, ON. I would love it if you would walk with me on that day, so mark your calendars. In 2019 we raised over $3,000 so let’s aim for $5,000 this year
If you are unable to come and walk with me on September 10th, please support me in this year's Parkinson Canada SuperWalk. Every dollar counts. Together, we have an immeasurable impact on the research being done, the services being offered, and the people being helped every day.
Thank you!
