Welcome to the donation page for Drums For Parkinson’s

My father Alan was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease over 15 years ago and that has inspired my family and I to participate in the Parkinson Canada Superwalk since 2008. Every year we walk to raise funds that go towards research, education and support for people living with Parkinson's. When the Covid-19 pandemic was in full swing in 2020, I started thinking outside the box and came up with a crazy idea on how to combine my love of playing drums with a cause that I am truly passionate about.

On Sunday August 28th, 2022, I will be playing drums for 12 hours straight and live streaming the event on Facebook, YouTube and Twitch for the world to see. From 9am - 9pm, I will be performing solo, with bands and special guests while interacting with the online audience and giving away great prizes for donors. My brother Paul will be co-hosting with me and joining me on the drum kit throughout the day. In the first 2 years of the event, over $28,000 has been raised! I'm hoping that this year will be bigger and better, so the goal is to raise $20,000! All funds received go directly to Parkinson Canada.

Hope you are able to join me for the live stream, and thanks in advance for your donation and support!!!

This September, Drums For Parkinson's is joining everyday heroes from communities across Canada as part of the Parkinson Canada SuperWalk.

More than 100,000 Canadians live with Parkinson's, a number expected to increase substantially in the coming years, with 30 Canadians diagnosed each day. Parkinson's is a disease that affects not only individuals, but also families, friends and care partners who come together to manage the realities of Parkinson's.
