On September 7, 2024at Beavermead Park I'm walking in the Parkinson Canada SuperWalk.
More than 100,000 Canadians live with Parkinson's, a number expected to increase substantially in the coming years. 0ne of those 100,000 Canadians happens to be our very close friend Larry Watson. Ever since our kids played hockey together, I have admired Larry as an intelligent, hard working, fiercely loving family man. I consider him one of the greats. Over the past few years, Parkinsons has robbed him of some of his independance and significantly altered the hopes, dreams and lifestyle that he and Lynn had worked so hard towards.
Parkinson's is the fastest growing neurological disorder in the world. Currently, there is no cure, and the need is only increasing. The support you provide makes a positive impact: improving the quality of life for people living with Parkinson's disease as well as finding a cure.
Please join us in the walk or consider sponsoring me.
With your donation, we can help people with Parkinson's live a better life today and work toward a world without Parkinson's tomorrow.
