The Parkinson’s journey is a constantly changing one. When my mother was diagnosed we knew very little about this condition and continue to learn more each day. Every day is a new set of challenges.
Parkinson’s is an important cause and families benefit from support, education, advocacy and guidance on how to navigate it, and research to one day prevent it. That is why we have participate in the SuperWalk year after year.
Here are the facts: more than 25 Canadians are diagnosed with Parkinson's every day; more than one person every hour. By 2031, the number of people living with Parkinson’s in Canada will more than double. Parkinson's is hard on individuals and families.
