Once again I am reaching out to friends and family for support as I participate in the 2024 Parkinson’s Super Walk 5 K fundraiser. 

On Sept.7, 2024 I will start walking at 10 a.m. at Killarney Lake in Fredericton or at UNB with the PD support group. I look forward to your support as I walk “In Memory of Mike”. 

This has been a very rewarding year in research related to neurodegenerative diseases with Canada playing a key role in several advances. My goals are to support research, raise awareness about the many forms PD can take, and lobby for better access to PD supports in rural areas. PD is not “just” a mobility issue. The disease can also have an impact on cognitive skills and the autonomic nervous system. All of us, care-partners and those with Parkinson’s, need your help.
