***NOTE: With adherence to public health guidelines a priority, registration for Pedaling for Parkinson's has now closed.***

Choose to register as an individual, captain or team member above.

Hosted by Jim Redmond and Krista Simonett.

The Ottawa couple found the event in 2017 and were so moved by the genuine, down to earth and supportive nature of the Parry Sound ride and its organizers that they endeavour to keep that spirit going. To provide a supportive environment for people to express their love of cycling, their support for one another, and their commitment to supporting people living with Parkinson's in Canada live on.

Please visit this section of the website for any updates. All routes will be confirmed on the event day.

Rider Recognition

The purpose of the event is to raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease and raise funds for research, and we encourage a $500 fundraising goal. Organizers work closely with Parkinson Canada to help ensure a successful event and they have created a specific Pedaling for Parkinson’s Research Grant.

There are some modest ‘rewards’ for achieving different fundraising levels, however:

  • $500 First Level Gear Rewards Pedaling for Parkinson’s Technical Tshirt
  • $2000 Second Level Rewards - Pedaling for Parkinson's Jersey

Your Safety is our Priority

We look forward to celebrating Pedaling for Parkinson's with you in accordance with the current local, provincial and federal health and safety guideless. Our utmost priority remains the health and safety of participants, volunteers, staff and the community at large.
