Some of you may know that I (Sherri) was diagnosed with Parkinson's in May of 2023. I am still in an early stage and doing quite well. It is encouraging to know that there is research being done and I would greatly appreciate your support in donating to this cause for research and services for people with Parkinson's. Thank you for considering this, it is greatly appreciated. -Sherri
More than 100,000 Canadians live with Parkinson's, a number expected to increase substantially in the coming years, with 30 Canadians diagnosed each day.
Parkinson's is a disease that affects not only individuals but also families, friends and care partners who come together to manage the realities of Parkinson's.
Parkinson's is a neurodegenerative disease with no cure, and the need for more support is only increasing. By 2031, the number of people living with Parkinson's in Canada will more than double. Your support fuels the increasing need for research, customized programs and services and our advocacy efforts.
Your donation can help our team reach our goal, and together, we can help people with Parkinson's live a better life today and work toward a world without Parkinson's tomorrow.
