Event Details

The inaugural GTA ride will take place on September 23rd & 24th, 2022. Pedaling for Parkinson's (P4P) is intended to be an inclusive, family-friendly event. The Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre in Orangeville will be the start/finish area for both routes, which will include a 40km and 97km option. 

Friday, September 23rd - Early Check-in and Social Gathering 

5:00 pm - 6:30 pm - Early Check-in & Bib Pick up 

6:30 pm - 9:00 pm - Social Gathering 

Falafels and light snacks will be provided, and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. Please email pedaling@parkinson.ca if you plan to attend the social gathering. 

Saturday, September 24th - Ride Day 

7:00 am - 8:00 am - Check-in & Bib Pick up 

7:50 am - Pre-ride meeting and opening ceremonies 

8:00 am Participants begin their journey 

10:30 am - 2:00 pm- Pizza and beverages for riders and volunteers when you return from the ride.

Route Details

The GTA ride offers fun, challenging route options for all riders. You can ride our 40km route, or if you're up for the challenge, try the 97km route. Regardless of the route, we want our participants to choose a pace that is enjoyable for them.

Our utmost priority remains the health and safety of participants, volunteers, staff, and the community at large. If you're not ready to participate in person yet, we totally get it, and we encourage remote participation. After all, cycling is something you can do your way. We're just glad to have you.
