Canadian Olmpyian Adam Van Koeverden took some time out from prepping for Brazil, 2016 to join as at iFly Toronto and live a Life Lists dream of his own, in support of his Partner with Parkinson's: his dad, Joe.
Adam invites you to join him:
I’ve known about the Life Lists Challenge for a while, and I was definitely up for the closed track car racing experience… I just didn’t know how I’d meet my fundraising goal. One night over cocktails, my girlfriend and her friends were really getting into a 90’s video playlist on Youtube and the idea was born. I contacted a local bar who donated the space, streamed video from my laptop to a projection screen, and we took everybody back to high school with a 1990’s video dance. It didn’t take much to find 40 of my friends who’d pay $20 each to support the cause and have a good time… a month later, with a few donations from my parents and other family who were happy to give, I was qualified. Nothing to it.
See you on the track!
